The Alliance of Black School Educators (ABSE) of Wake County is proud to extend scholarship support. The Alliance of Black School Educators (ABSE) of Wake County Scholarship is awarded to students of African American descent to promote the mission of enabling high academic achievement. Four $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors in the Wake County Public School System.
All applicants must have an acceptance letter in a college or university, complete the application below and provide a one-page (typed and double spaced) essay that includes the following topics: Your Leadership Qualities/Experiences, Community Service Experiences, and Why You Should Receive the Scholarship. Consider writing this essay in a narrative format that includes information about you. Send
your essay, this application, and a copy of your acceptance letter to the address below before the deadline (April 3, 2023 at 12 pm).
